4/28/2016 We told you about them. Now you can hear them with just a click. And now... a few minutes of guitar bliss... 4GDB

8/22/2015  If you like the blues and great guitar playing then you will like 4GDB!

Soothing and clean, this is what James "The Blues Hound" Nagel
90.1 FM KPFT Houston had to say about the album. If you are wondering why, just ask Dan Cook, the man behind this one off gathering. "I simply wanted to showcase four extraordinary guitarists that I have a great deal of respect for." And that, in a nutshell, is what this project is all about.

From Austin, Texas, by way of Houston, is the one and only Alan Haynes. Also from Austin and leader of the infamous Antone's house band, Derek O'Brien. John Inmon, from the Lost Gonzo band, plugs in beside Gulf Coast legend Bert Wills. These are guitar players' guitar players one and all. Anchoring the rhythm section are the rock solid timekeepers, Paul Pearcy on drums and Glenn Fukunaga on bass. Houston's Annika Chambers, 2015 BMA nominee for "best new artist," lends her vocal talent on the track "People Get Ready."

So sit back, turn it up and experience four creative geniuses having fun in the studio, without any outline or restrictions.

Sometimes we get to see one of our custom guitar straps in a video or on tv.  But here is a whole bunch of Action Custom Straps at work!

8/7/2014  It was a difficult decision but we have decided to suspend the Free Strap Giveaway. It was real, it was fun, it was real fun!  But things change!

6/26/2014 We were the only four people in the audience for the sound check at the Jimmy Buffett concert.  Pretty cool... Details and pics on our Facebook page!

Introducing Half Note!  As you can see, it is half black and half white - split right down the middle!  So, if you have a black guitar and a white guitar and want a strap for both, Half Note will fill that bill!  Half Note is available on our Etsy and Artfire store.  Need something custom?  Just let us know!

imaging-resource.com posted a very nice review of our camera straps 4/16/2014 http://www.imaging-resource.com/news/2014/04/16/tired-of-that-chintzy-camera-strap-check-this-out

August 2013 - Keith Urban was in town for a concert.  It was nice to see him as it had been a few years!

Introducing a new camera strap to our lineup that uses the same leathers as our Blackjack guitar strap. It has a pebble grain black cowhide inlay in a lighter tan cowhide leather that has a substantial and rich look. It’s really no coincidence that it is named Blackjack as well. Click on the picture to go to the Blackjack page.

Once again, we owe a debt of gratitude to one of the artists that use ACTION Custom Straps, Michael Weber. He took the time to make a video featuring our straps. Have a look!

Two new Deer skin straps!  Deerskin is extremely soft with a feel all its own.  These two straps go well with many wood tone acoustic and electric guitars.

Premier Guitar December 2009 had a nice shot of Jimmy Buffett on stage.  And it’s also a great shot of one of his Surfboard straps!

Premier Guitar January 2009 had a nice shot of Billy Corgan on stage.  And it’s also a good shot of one of his Action Custom Straps.

Albert Cummings is featured in an article in the January 2009 issue of Vintage Guitar.  And he is wearing his trademark Action Custom guitar strap.

Premier Guitar October 2008 had a nice shot of Lynyrd Skynyrd on stage.  And it’s also a good shot of some Action Custom Straps hard at work!

We like to think that over the years, we have built up a base of loyal customers who appreciate our straps.  But Joe Walla went above and beyond in making a video featuring Action Custom Straps!  Have a look!  Thanks Joe!

November 8, 2007 - Keith Urban performs at Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.  Keith really interacts wtih the audience and puts on a great show.  Keith has Action Custom Straps on all of his guitars.  And for everyone who has not got to meet Keith, yes, he is as nice as he is talented.

One of our favorite artists was in town on September 14th.  Miranda Lambert always puts on a good show and we always enjoy the time we spend with her.  She and her family have always been a pleasure to work with.  Miranda is presently touring with Toby Keith.

July 2007 - Indianapolis - Jimmy Buffett comes to town.  Once again we had a great time at the “Bama Breeze” show.  Jimmy is a busy, busy guy but we got to talk with him briefly.  We spent more time with Dan Cook, Jimmy’s guitar tech, Mac McAnally, and Peter Mayer, and Doug Breidenbach, Mac and Peter’s guitar tech.  We’ve made some good friends over the years that we have been making custom guitar straps and we count these guys among the best.

Dan just put on a new “Flori-Bama” guitar strap on one of Jimmy’s Martin’s.

Doug has been helpful in many ways over the years.  And as Mac and Peter’s guitar tech, he takes good care of them.  The man at the right is Rafer, Nik’s husband.

Peter Mayer is shown here with his new strap that bears his logo.

Mac McAnally appears to like a new “Saddlehorn” Series 200 guitar strap we made for him.

Yep, we had a good time!

April 2007 - Indianapolis - Van Zant and Lynyrd Skynyrd come to town.  We were able to spend some time with Donnie Van Zant before the show as well as Ricky Metlock.  Brian Evors, guitar tech, and all around nice guy, has helped us immeasurably over the years.

A lot of the artists and celebs we have met over the years have been as nice as, well... Donnie Van Zant!

Ricky Metlock is a rock veteran and a long time member of Lynyrd Skynyrd.  He was gracious enough to spend some time with us before the show and we even chowed down with him.
